Let's show everyone that the women in southwest Pennsylvania know how to fish using all types of rods and reels and we are not limited to simply fly-fishing or bass fishing. 



Promoting all women in all outdoor and hunting sports. While other organizations do promote women in outdoor and hunting sports, WomenHunters fills its own unique niche with its Internet presence, WomenHunters Club, Bulletin Board and other features. Womenhunters compliments the efforts other similar organizations.


Female anglers clubs are very prominent in the western and southern states but
are very close to non-exisistent in the north east and are very hard to locate in Pa. Its very difficult to find any comprehensive listing of clubs, male or female.

Old Jim gave me some insight on how to start a club: First you need a good straight piece of wood. Then a good sander to round it off. Put some large nails in the end and presto a club!


Future Website Goals:

Schedules of outings and events. 

Sessions of instructions for beginning female anglers to include basic fishing, the fundamentals of rod and reel handling and casting, knot tying and tackle.

Newsletters with interesting and informative articles. 

Fund raisers & community involvement.
